WELCOME
TO BRG FARMS. Located in the high country of Watauga and Avery County of NC we raise Angus cattle, different breeds of hogs, and bee hives for the purpose of providing quality meat and honey for people to enjoy. We are certified to artificially inseminate cattle and breed registered Angus cattle for seed stock. We have over 40 years of experience which include cold, late nights nursing newly birthed calves that needed extra warmth and attention before nursing from their mother.

Our cattle are grass fed and receive low-stress handling. We do not use growth hormone in-plants. Many of our Angus cattle are registered and available for seed stock.
Our pastured raised Large Black, Berkshire, York, and Tamworth piglets and hogs are available for both custom meat and breeding.
Our local honey is currently unavailable this season but the hives are strong and preparing themselves for a plentiful harvest next summer.
